Shifter support Vélo Orange for fork

If you wish install your bags on multiple bikes without having to remove your shifter system, it may be relevant to buy as many supports as you have bikes.

The shifters are traditional fastening supports for front luggage bag.

Unlike some modern bag holders, they keep the bag low for better handling and to keep the handlebar clear.

Fork mounting bracket Vélo Orange is attached to the steering tube of the fork, either under the locking nut of the steering gear (in version 1), or in the stack of spacers (in version 1"-1/8).

They are made entirely of stainless steel and are compatible with most traditional style bags such as Velo Orange, Acorn, Ostrich, Sologne, Berthoud, TA, LaFuma and others.

The receiver uses a 3 mm thick spacer
The bag holder uses 6 mm tubes
Note that a shifter is intended to be a rapid release mechanism.
It's not a bag support mechanism.

In other words the bag must always rest on a baggage rack or on mudguard.

The shifters mounted on the fork may be slightly folded to adjust the height of the bag, but they may not work with very high or very short frames (for these frames, we recommend a front luggage rack with a integrated stripper).

Note: It is highly recommended to use at least one strap or elastic cord, in addition to the stripper, to attach your bag to your front luggage rack.

If you hit a big bump or a pothole, it is possible that your bag bounces, unhooking the bag from the decal receiver.
