Schindelhauer proposed with the Emila IX, an electric bike for urban women and multipurpose.

It incorporates a mahle electric motor of 250 watts in the rear hub pinion gearbox(created by former Porsche engineers) at the pedal boat and the integrated battery in the oblique tube. The whole of course with discretion and sobriety.

The Emila IX has a transmission to 9 reports (hence its name IX) which allows a report passage fluid,Rolling and rolling'Stopping. Practical to restart gently at the red light !

Strong point of the bike, it offers a wide front luggage rack mounted on the frame, thus avoiding the tipping of the load and providing better driving stability (especially in turns). It also allows a heavier load than on a conventional rack (on the wheel hub) and more secure thanks to intelligent straps provided.

Thanks to its suitable frame geometry: a longer steering tube and a shorter gallows, the Emila IX has a comfortable and straight driving position.

With his large tyres (WTB Horizon - 47 mm) paved roads and rugged roads are no longer a problem even heavily loaded.

THE Emila IX is of course true to the trademark of Schindelhauer proposing a belt transmission. This last poster three to four times more mileage than a chain - with the same efficiency, less maintenance and less noise.

• The front rack allows for the transport of heavy loads which are directly screwed on the steering socket, it also allows the handlebar to be rotated without moving. Very practical to maintain maximum stability.
• Integration total cables needed to electrify the bike.
• The gearbox under the pedal for an even smoother gear shift.
• The strap system integrated into the rack is very practical, it will allow you to attach very strongly a heavy load, or to attach slightly a bouquet of flowers, thanks to the practical 'vario straps' system. When they do not serve the straps discreetly place themselves along the rack.
• Curana's front and rear light systems are perfectly integrated into the mudguard. Powered by the dynamo of the hub, the lights with a power of 30 lux will remain lit at the red light.
• As all the frames of the AL 6061 aluminium brand with a T6 heat treatment is used, it allows to bring the necessary strength to the installation of the carbon belt.
• The geometry was developed in order to wait for 3 lenses, provide the necessary space to pass the tires in 650 B, have an adequate rack location and a comfortable position. To be done, the saddle tube was shortened and the steering socket elongated, and it works pretty well !
• The choice of tires was motivated by two objectives, comfort and the ability to drive fast. To guarantee both tyres WTB Horizon 650 B has been selected.
• Signature Schindelhauer, obviously present on the Emila IX, is the famous carbon belt. It will bring you an incomparable silence to the use of a chain, no maintenance will be done, no lubrication and therefore no trace of fat on the pants.
