With a 100% integrated design, this electric bike does not see its clean design altered by an unsightly external battery. The power is transmitted to a 250 W engine integrated into the rear wheel hub.

Similarly, no control console at the handlebar: Key functions such as support setting and battery level are accessible with a single multifunction button on the frame, or via a dedicated smartphone app Android or iOS.

At the charging level, the bike connects directly to the mains thanks to a carefully concealed power connector at the base of the saddle tube.

The rest of the bike is on the sidelines. The transmission is provided by a Gates Carbon belt. The operation is thus fluid, quiet and with a much less laborious maintenance than for a conventional chain.

The choice of a single speed transmission is also very relevant: The development chosen by Schindelhauer is indeed very versatile. Electrical assistance then plays a kind of facilitator role during the steepest ribs and is forgotten on the flat and downhill. Because of its feather weight of nearly 10 kg less than the other EAWs on the market, the Schindelhauer Arthur requires a much lower level of assistance to move at high speed.

Sporty to acceleration, it is equally so during braking phases or powerful hydraulic calipers are associated with ventilated discs of generous diameters.

Finally, within the scope of practical aspects, welcome the integration of Lightskin LED lighting, directly powered by the battery. Specially designed mudguards for this model are available as an option.
