Ortlieb Up-Town Rack Urban rear bike basket to clip onto luggage rack

The very chic up-down bike basket of the brand Ortlieb is now available in a Rack version for your rear luggage rack.

Presented here in its Urban finish with a very classy textile look, it is made of PVC-free cordura canvas. This beautiful completely waterproof basket benefits from the know-how of the German brand and the perfect finishes that are found on its products.
With a volume of 17,5 L cart Up-town Rack will be perfect to go to the market, to get bread or for a little stroll in the city. The lid attached to the basket in its middle acts as a flap and allows quick access without having to open the lid completely.

The basket has a zipped inside compartment to keep your wallet, keys or smartphone at hand. Internal reinforcement and small skates ensure good stability during loading and unloading.

An external aluminium arch comes to stabilize the basket and add a small modern touch to its line, finally a comfortable carrying handle will help you when down from saddle to carry the basket.

Ingenious Top-Lock fastening system developed by Ortlieb requires an easy and quick first installation to the dimensions of your luggage rack, then you can clip and unclip your trunk in a flash thanks to the two unlocking handles present on each side.
The Top-Lock system is robust and will not even move on the roughest roads.
To welcome the up-town rack baggage racks shall have a width of 80 to 160 mm and tubes with a diameter of 8 to 16 mm, which is the case for the vast majority of bicycle luggage racks. The video below shows the Top-Lock system.

Up-Town Rack Urban basket is watertight and manufactured in Germany using a sustainable manufacturing process. For better visibility on the road, this luggage rack has an extremely bright reflective element. The maximum payload of the basket is 10 kg.
