Fit Kits Old Man Mountain – Mount a luggage rack on almost any bike

The Fit Kits allow to securely attach a luggage carrier Old Man Mountain on a bike without carnations or whose carnations are not designed to withstand heavy loads. Thanks to an assembly by crossing axis or rapid blocking, they offer robust, reliable and reversible fastening, while protecting your frame.

Why choose a Fit Kit?

Protection of the framework : unlike a carnation mounting, the load is transmitted to the wheel axis, without asking for the small threads often fragile of the frame.
Capacity increased : mounting via Fit Kit allows to charge up to 33 kg (70 lbs).
Polyvalence One luggage rack can be used on several bicycles or in front/rear mounting, simply by changing the Fit Kit.

How to choose the right Fit Kit?

Step 1 – Identify location

Front mounting : choose a Fit Kit Front

Step 2 – Type of axis

Step 3 – Raise the characteristics of your original axis

For crossing axes, you must know:

The diameter of the axis :
- Front: 12 mm or 15 mm
- Rear: 12 mm
The thread step (pitch): 1.0 mm / 1.5 mm / 1.75 mm
Useful length (right side of axis, without head or conical parts)
