Its construction in two parts allows rapid change of pinion : Once the nut is removed, the pinion can be removed without a tool, the holder remains in place on its hub thread.

In addition to the ease of replacing the pinion and therefore varying the ratio effortlessly, the pinion fixed to ergots Miche is available in two sizes.

In addition to the standard width of 1/8", it is also available in 3/32".

The advantage of taking a slightly thinner pinion is to give a slight lateral game for the chain on the pinion and thus reduce the scratching noise sometimes caused by a chain line not quite perfect.

Fixed pinions Miche in 1/8" and 3/32" are compatible with all 1/8" single-speed chains on our site.
