The Kask Wasabi, a name that owes nothing to chance, or not:
The wasabi, or Eutrema japonicum, is a species of plants of the genus Eutrema (or Wasabia) found in Asia. This species is native to Japan. It belongs to the Brassicaceae family, like mustard and horseradish, and its stem is used as a paste as a condiment in Japanese cuisine. The other varieties of Eutrema japonicum, the most common on the market, are E. japonicum (daruma. By extension, wasabi refers to both the plant and the condiment in French.
The relationship with high-end road bike helmet made in Italy ? None in my opinion, except the price a little spicy eventually.
What we know with certainty, however, is that Kask Wasabi is a helmet that unites all the latest innovations in aerodynamics, comfort and safety.

Built around a very robust reinforced Polycarbonate shell Kask Wasabi has a particular profile aerodynamics studied in the wind tunnel.
Developed in close collaboration with the prestigious team INEOS Grenadiers Kask Wasabi made his first appearance in a World Tour UCI race for the Strade Bianche 2021.
Here on Tom Pidcock's head, to get the perfs (perhaps) and look (perhaps) of a pro, bicycle glasses Oakley Jawbreaker are available here.
The Strade Bianche, therefore, take place on the Tuscan roads between Siena and Florence. The route is particularly demanding because it combines paved roads and sectors on dusty roads.
In general, weather in early March is often capricious and it is not uncommon for rain to interfere.
The Kask Wasabi was therefore developed as a aerodynamic road or gravel helmet and usable under all conditions.
The trick lies in its very large adjustable air intake :

This wide opening allows keep your head cool in case of a hot blow and protect against cold and rain when the weather is less mild.
Performance is on the rendezvous with a decreased temperature below the helmet by 1.5°C for an aerodynamic loss of a very small Watt at 50 km/h when the flap is in an open position.
This helmet for the top athletes on the plateau can also be used as a urban bike helmet for daily trips of demanding bikers.
It has a reflective sticker in the back.
Construction Kask Wasabi is of type "in moulding" : The outer shell is merged with the internal polystyrene calotin. It is the configuration that offers best results in terms of shock absorption.
The lining is made from merino wool known for its fantastic properties of thermal regulation of the one part and its appearance naturally antimicrobial on the other hand.
