The Pedelec 2.0 bike helmet fill the start of the urban high-end segment of the brand Abus, it was designed by combining all the best innovations and technologies of the brand :

• Very high level of protection thanks to its lightweight In Mold design and low protections at the temple and neck
• A great user comfortn thanks to a pleasant removable inner quilting and washing that will surround your head and reduce pressure points
• Effective ventilation provided by the 4 entrances and 9 exits allowing you to use it year-round
• Accurate adjustment from the helmet to the cyclist's lead, thanks to a precision wheel
• Increased security thanks to the Led USB lighting integrated in the rear position, actuable by pressure that will diffuse red light at 180 °, and the reflectors sewn on its straps

This technology is the result of extensive studies carried out in Sweden by the company of the same name. The principle of their brain protection system is to imitate and play the role of the cerebrospinal fluid in which our brain is immersed.

The Mips system is in fact an additional protection added to the helmets, it is a system that allows to dissolve your skull from the shell of the helmet allowing a movement of your head in case of impact.

In a crash, the MIPS system will absorb the energy of impact by dragging the skull along the hull. Rotational forces will be better dissipated and the brain will not tap against the skull box, thus being better protected against oblique impacts. Video illustration:
