Abus 770A SmartX connected U-shaped bike lock with Alarm

The German security brand Abus innovates with its new Abus 770A SmartX connected U-lock!

1- As the Abus motto says " The smartphone is the key ". The SmartX connected U bike lock is a smart lock that uses its owner's smartphone as a key. Thus connected, the lock can only be opened by Bluetooth via the Abus SmartX application , available on iOS and Android. It is enough for the cyclist to stand at a distance of 2 to 5 meters from the lock to lock and unlock it, by manipulating the sliding switch. Each 770A Smart X lock can be used by several people. It is the administrator who decides whether or not to share their access permanently or temporarily with another person, everything is managed from the application which also makes it possible to memorize the last place where the bike was parked.

2- The Abus 770A SmartX connected U lock has an integrated and intelligent alarm which will differentiate small movements linked for example to the unhooking of a neighboring bicycle by beeping. During repeated movements linked to one flight, it will emit a powerful 100 Db sound that is extremely dissuasive!

3- This Abus 770A SmartX connected lock has the latest technologies in terms of mechanical security, its U-shaped design, its square parabolic shackle 13 mm in diameter, its double security case are coupled with internal components in cemented steel benefiting from the Abus Power Cell technology, which provides the best protection against strikes and pull attacks.

The use of the Abus SmartX maximum protection lock with Alarm is recommended in places at high risk of theft such as urban areas and night parking areas. Securing expensive bikes, electric bikes, cargo bikes or other bi- and tri-carriers should preferably be done on maximum protection locks.

The Abus Smartx lock has an integrated lithium-ion battery that can be charged via a USB-C port in order to operate the system. If you ever find yourself out of battery, only the alarm will be deactivated, the anti-theft device can still be used.
